With so much content out there, it’s getting hard to decide what to watch and what not to. Here are five of the best Netflix recommendations from my side across all genres.

I’ve been watching series whenever I get the time, and I’ve realized that most of the content people watch today is either irrelevant or forced. When we look closely, we can see there’s an ocean of content out there, but it’s rare to find a true masterpiece among it.

So, I’ve solved this issue because I watch content from almost all genres. However, over the last few months, I haven’t been able to watch much since I’m doing the 75 Hard Challenge. You can check out my challenge on YouTube.

So, here are five recommendations from my side for you to watch on Netflix. I’ll start with my favorite anime series.

Kotaro Lives Alone

Kotaro Lives Alone is a heartwarming and emotional Japanese anime series based on the manga by Mami Tsumura. It follows Kotaro Sato, a 4-year-old boy who moves into an apartment complex all by himself. Despite his young age, he behaves in a surprisingly mature and independent way. As his neighbors get to know him—especially a struggling manga artist named Karino—they learn about his past and the reasons behind his independence.

It’s a touching mix of humor, warmth, and life lessons about loneliness, kindness, and resilience.

📺 Where to Watch: You can stream Kotaro Lives Alone exclusively on Netflix.

This is one of my favourites because of its storyline and how a 4-year-old boy handles challenges that even adults can’t. The maturity level of the child is truly remarkable, and the way people in the series help him with his problems makes it totally worth watching.

It’s a short and amazing story about the boy, and I’ve been waiting for its second season for a long time.

Start-Up (Korean Drama) on Netflix

Start-Up is a popular South Korean drama available on Netflix that blends romance, ambition, and entrepreneurship. The story follows Seo Dal-mi, a young woman with big dreams of becoming Korea’s next Steve Jobs, and Nam Do-san, the founder of a struggling startup called Samsan Tech. Set in the bustling world of Korea’s Silicon Valley—called Sandbox—the series explores themes of dreams, love, friendship, and the challenges of building a business from the ground up.

It’s an inspiring mix of heartwarming romance and motivational storytelling that appeals to dreamers and entrepreneurs alike.

📺 Where to Watch: Exclusively on Netflix.

This is second on my list because I loved the story, and it kept me hooked until the end. I’m still waiting for the second season because, as far as I remember, the story didn’t end completely, leaving many things unresolved.

The King: Eternal Monarch 2020 Korean Dharam

The King: Eternal Monarch (2020) is a Korean fantasy-romance drama about an emperor named Lee Gon who discovers a mysterious portal that connects his kingdom to a parallel world — modern-day Korea. There, he meets Jung Tae-eul, a brave police detective, and together they try to stop an evil force threatening both worlds.

It’s a mix of romance, mystery, and fantasy, with beautiful visuals and a deep story about fate and love.

📺 Where to Watch: Available on Netflix.

This one is my personal favorite because of its storyline. The humor and suspense are perfectly integrated, making it a simple yet impactful series that brings tears, laughter, and action together on a single plate.

First, you all should watch these. Soon, I’ll recommend more of the best ones I’ve found. I’ll also share my thoughts and reviews about many of them on this blog, so make sure to subscribe for the latest updates.
