Wow, 15th of august 2025 it's Independence Day, and I can say we are still struggling.
There are words for everything, as we all know.
Let's dive into it. It's already 11:14 PM while I'm writing this, and I have only a few minutes to finish this because I need to sleep. It's not a matter of concern, but there are a lot of matters that are concerning today. While we are enjoying the 79th Independence Day of this nation, we need to talk about these things.
Independence day
First, I need to talk about one amazing thing I saw today while I went for my morning run. It was the union of people from all castes and religions celebrating Independence Day. I recorded it because I felt the connection on the ground—how people are united, even though politics sometimes tries to break that unity.
Now, what's the matter of concern?
The matter of concern is how this country has become the home ground of corruption, and it is visible to the naked eye. I can see the roads flooding during rain—you can see almost every road is flooding today. Crimes are increasing, and the rape rate is also rising, along with other issues, at a rapid rate. But people in this country are not that worried because they have lost the so-called freedom of speech as well. You can't say anything unless you have the power to do so. But that's not the biggest issue.
If I look clearly, I can see that today people hardly know the truth about this country because the media has made them blind. Those who can see can't say anything due to the pressure on them. Recently, you might have heard about the vote theft news, which was legitimate or not—we don't know. But if this is happening, then what's the point of us even living in this country? How can we have the right to vote if someone else can vote on our behalf without even existing? Lol.
These are simple issues; larger ones we might not be aware of because we don't know the ground reality. These are things we have heard through the news. We have also heard about how they are treating students and conducting exams like SSC and other exams—we know that. So, these things make me worry because I also take exams sometimes, but who knows if we get the real results or made-up ones.
